UIC Symposium to Debut Dedicated Cannabis Cultivation Training Day

United in Compassion's Australian Medicinal Cannabis Symposium will add a dedicated cultivation training day to its program for the first time in 2025.

The event runs at Brisbane's Royal International Convention Centre from February 21–23, with the new training day scheduled to open proceedings on the Friday.

Australian Cannabis Cultivators (ACC), a sub-association of the Australian Medicinal Cannabis Association (AMCA), will lead the training day, giving attendees a thorough grounding in the core elements of cannabis cultivation.

The program will cover propagation and cultivation techniques, lighting requirements for optimal plant growth, nutrition strategies, pest and disease management, genetics, and post-harvest processing.

Speakers with expertise in the field will present throughout the day, with attendees also able to learn directly from seasoned cultivators and connect with others working in the industry.

The opening day will further include a regulatory compliance session and education and training for healthcare professionals, rounding out the day with welcome drinks.

Full details about the program are available on the symposium website.
