The Cannabis Industry Awards presentation ceremony and gala dinner has sold out for the second year in a row.
Scheduled for Melbourne's Zinc, Federation Square next Thursday (May 30), the evening will be hosted by comedian, TV and radio personality Tim 'Rosso' Ross. Trophies will be handed out across 22 categories in front of an audience of 400 cannabis industry attendees.
Co-founder and chief growth officer Martin Lane said: "After last year's event sold out, we booked a venue with a much larger capacity. But it turns out even that wasn't big enough to accommodate everyone who wanted to come.
"We're thrilled the awards have been so well-supported by the industry once more.
"From our fantastic sponsors and judges to the companies and individuals who put so much effort into their submissions, it's been humbling to see the sector working together to recognise its collective achievements.
"And to sell out the venue more than a week ahead – again – is the icing on the cake. Win or lose, it will be a night to remember for everyone in the industry and a true celebration of the work we all do."
