Final call for Australia and New Zealand Cannabis Awards 2024 — entries close Friday

With fewer than 48 hours remaining to submit nominations, entries for the Cannabis Awards for Australia and New Zealand 2024 are flowing in from both sides of the Tasman.

Friday, March 22 is the hard deadline for submissions, after which entries will be handed to the judging panel. The shortlist is set to be announced on April 18, with the awards ceremony scheduled for May 30 at Zinc, Federation Square, Melbourne.

Several new categories have been introduced for 2024, including Best Use of Technology and Nurse of the Year, while the previous Cultivator/Manufacturer of the Year category has been divided into two separate awards.

The judging panel draws on expertise across politics, healthcare, research, consultancy, and business, and includes some of the most senior figures from each of those fields.

Judges will follow a two-stage process, first reviewing all entries and selecting a shortlist in each category, then convening via video to discuss submissions before independently casting their votes for winners.
