Comedian and broadcaster Tim 'Rosso' Ross has been announced as the MC for the 2024 The Cannabis Observer Awards presentation and gala dinner, set to take place in Melbourne later this month.
Widely recognised for his television and radio career — which included hosting the top-rated breakfast and drive shows in Sydney alongside Merrick Watts — Tim has long maintained a deep interest in architecture and design.
For more than eleven years, he has toured his live show Man About The House through architecturally significant buildings and private homes across the globe. Transforming each space into a pop-up theatre, Tim and musical collaborator Kit Warhurst have played sold-out performances in venues designed by some of the most celebrated names in Australian architecture.
His ABC television series Streets of Your Town became the most-watched arts program of the year on the network, while his live show about the enduring importance of architecture, Designing A Legacy, had its premiere at the Sydney Opera House.
Part conversation, part screening, and part stand-up comedy, the show explores Australian families whose lives have been shaped by the modernist homes they inhabit, and considers the future of these architectural legacies.
The The Cannabis Observer Awards presentation ceremony and gala dinner will be held at Zinc, Federation Square, Melbourne on May 30.
Last year's event sold out entirely, and with this year's ceremony moving to a larger venue at nearly double the capacity, demand is expected to be just as strong — secure your tickets now via this link before they're gone.
Tim Ross's appearance at the awards is sponsored by platinum partner Pharmalytics.
