Margaret River Hemp Company had a standout evening at the first-ever iHempWA Awards 2023, claiming the Hemp Business of the Year title while founder Georgina Wilkinson walked away with both the Lifetime Contribution and Champion of Champions honours.
The awards recognise Western Australia's leading hemp growers, producers and manufacturers, and were presented at a gala dinner last week. Labor MP and Select Committee into Cannabis and Hemp member Lorna Harper delivered the keynote address.
Among those in attendance were Legalise Cannabis WA MPs Sophia Moermond and Dr Brian Walker. The following day, the event continued with the iHemp WA Expo.
