Delegations from Australia and New Zealand travelled to Berlin this week to attend and present at ICBC, putting both countries' cannabis industries on the international stage.
Global Victoria backed the Australian contingent, which included representatives from Medicinal Cannabis Industry Australia (MCIA), Cann Group, Biortica Agrimed, Cannatrek, ECS Botanics, Gemkom, ARC Research Hub for Medicinal Agriculture, MedTEC Pharma, Sativite and Zion Botanics. German/South American-based company FoliuMed was also part of the group.
New Zealand's presence at the conference was carried by Helius Therapeutics, Cannasouth/Eqalis, Rua Bioscience, Puro and NE Tech.
Among the speakers, Little Green Pharma chief executive Fleta Solomon took part in a panel on the global rise of medicinal cannabis. Helius Therapeutics chief executive Carmen Doran and MCIA chair Peter Crock appeared together on a separate panel focused on emerging markets.

Both delegations also took part in additional events throughout the week, including the Global Investment Forum and the CB Club.
