Vitura Health has entered into a services agreement with WholeLife Pharmacy and Health Foods, giving the pharmacy network its own branded version of Vitura's CanView platform.
Under the agreement, WholeLife's pharmacies, patients, and partner prescribers will gain access to a broad range of products through CanView's e-prescribing functionality.
Vitura disclosed to the ASX that the arrangement will also improve workflow efficiencies and enable "seamless compliance reporting, and a turnkey operating solution for existing and future WholeLife franchisees".
WholeLife patients will be able to register on the branded platform and access its patient app, where they can store prescriptions in a single location, make in-app payments, and arrange express home delivery of CanView-listed products.
The deal also gives Vitura a presence across WholeLife's 22 pharmacies in high-footfall locations, with a further 10 stores planned to open during 2024. WholeLife works in partnership with Cairns-based One Health Clinics, which delivers face-to-face and telehealth consultations to 14,000 patients across the country.
The agreement also involves Vitura, through its subsidiary Burleigh Heads Cannabis, distributing WholeLife's newly branded products, which will be sold and distributed through the pharmacy group's own-branded CanView platform.
Vitura said it anticipates the arrangement will drive higher volumes of products prescribed and distributed through CanView, as well as growing the number of patients and prescribers on the platform.
Vitura CEO Rodney Cocks said: "Since launching the new prescriber and patient functionality… last year, we are excited to see the CanView platform, coupled with [our] nationally scaled distribution operations, being favoured as the complete end-to-end solution within the industry.
"We look forward to working closely with WholeLife to build on their leading position in the industry providing better service through leveraging the many benefits of the CanView platform."
WholeLife Pharmacy co-founder and director Frank Pappalardo said the agreement "provides an end-to-end solution for our patients supporting them to manage their prescriptions and gain access to a wider range of medicines".

He added: "We believe this ground-breaking agreement supports the evolving needs of our customer base."
WholeLife CEO Damian Young said the deal will "enhance the workflow efficiencies and compliance reporting for our stores while also supporting our patients with a range of alternative health options and natural therapies that align with the WholeLife brand's holistic vision".
He added: "CanView provides a turnkey solution for our existing and new franchisees supporting them to deliver positive patient outcomes."
Vitura recently announced that Code4 Cannabis (C4C), the software developer behind CanView, does not plan to extend its licensing agreement with the company beyond the current contract's expiry in August.
In response, Vitura said it will explore acquiring the technology provider, which it is entitled to pursue under the terms of a services agreement between the two companies.
The company will also exercise a clause granting it continued exclusive use of C4C's software for a 15-month transition period after August, running until November 2025, followed by a further 12 months of exclusivity.
