Vitura Health has brought back former chief financial officer Tom Howitt to fill the interim CFO role following the exit of Andrew Cook, who departed the company last week after only four months in the position.
Howitt had previously held the CFO position at the company for seven years before stepping down last October.
He will work alongside newly installed chief executive Justin James — who joined the business on June 1 — while the company conducts its search for a permanent finance chief.
Vitura said Howitt's in-depth knowledge of its operations would help provide "continuity" throughout the changeover period.
The company also disclosed that Cook left before the conclusion of his probationary period, having been approached about a position that offered a "unique professional opportunity."
Vitura acknowledged the timing was "not ideal" but indicated it respected his choice to move on.
The company last week also confirmed the departure of chief revenue officer Ryan Tattle.
