Medicinal cannabis cultivator Cannaponics is working toward a float on the Australian Securities Exchange later this year, as the company edges closer to its first commercial harvest at the Collie facility in Western Australia.
The West Australian has reported that the company has brought on stockbroking firm Morgans as lead manager and adviser for the planned initial public offering.
The IPO is anticipated to proceed in the second half of 2025.
The move toward a public listing follows Cannaponics securing its cultivation and manufacturing permit from the Office of Drug Control late last year.
The company's indoor facility is expected to produce its first harvest in March or April.
Vitura Health
Vitura Health has appointed Andrew Cook, a former Energy Queensland executive, as its new chief financial officer. Cook takes over from Tom Howitt, who formally departed the company this month.
Cook brings over twenty years of international finance experience, having held roles at Origin Energy and SABMiller as well as Energy Australia. Most recently, he was CFO and company secretary of AnteoTech Limited.
He is set to begin at Vitura during the current quarter.
