Comedian and television personality Cam Knight has been confirmed as the emcee for the The Cannabis Observer Awards presentation and gala dinner, set to take place in Melbourne next month.
Among Australia's most active comedy performers, Knight has appeared at the televised Montreal Just for Laughs Festivals at the Opera House, the Sydney Comedy Festival Gala on the Comedy Channel, and has hosted the Perth Comedy Festival Gala.
His television credits include ABC programs How Not to Behave, Back Seat Drivers, Soul Mates, and Wham Bam Thank You Ma'am. He has also been a regular panellist on Channel 9's The Today Show and co-hosted Studio 10 on Channel 10.
His touring festival shows across Australia have earned him five-star reviews and a nomination for Best Comedy Show at Fringeworld in Perth.
Knight has performed for Australian troops in the Middle East, and in both 2022 and 2023 he headed to London to perform at some of the city's most prominent venues.
The awards presentation ceremony and gala dinner will be held at Melbourne's Showtime Events Centre on June 8.
