Kelly King, PR director at Montu, and Zoe Phillips, the company's head of brand, are departing to take up senior positions at Australian wellness technology startup Bon Charge.
King has been appointed global PR director at Bon Charge, a company focused on sleep, beauty and recovery technology products. Phillips joins as the startup's chief marketing officer.
King said: “Leaving the industry was an incredibly difficult decision to make – and made so much more difficult because of all the phenomenally passionate and talented people who remain at Montu.
“I am extremely proud of how far we’ve collectively come, and all that we’ve been able to champion – and already change – for Aussie patients, even though there is so much more work to do to eliminate the stigma of medical cannabis use.
“Even though I’ll be cheering from the sidelines, I have never in my life been prouder to have been a fundamental part of something so critically important to hundreds of thousands of people.
“I know I’m leaving Montu in great hands, and can’t wait for all the positive things yet to come.”
Montu is yet to name successors for either King or Phillips.
