MedReleaf Australia has brought on Kristin Viccars as its new chief operating officer while elevating co-founder Nathan Davis to the role of executive director.
Viccars comes to the position from Apex Tool Group, a Bain Capital-owned company, where he served as marketing director. He was recognised this year among Australia's top 50 marketing leaders by CMO Magazine.
His qualifications include an MBA and a Diploma in Business Law, along with completed coursework at Harvard Business School covering disruptive strategy and finance. He is also a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
MedReleaf chairman and chief executive Russell Harding said: "Kristin, who we have known for many years, will oversee business strategy creation and execution for MedReleaf Australia and ensure [our] continued growth and profitability."
In his new role, Davis will take on additional responsibilities at the board level while continuing his work as a core member of the operational team and as an advocate for the industry.
He said: "Having Kristin join our business is an exciting next step as we continue to successfully scale up our plans."
