Kevin Nafte Moves from Lyphe Australia to Cannatrek in NSW Role

Kevin Nafte has left his position as general manager of Lyphe Australia to take on a new role with Cannatrek in New South Wales.

Nafte came on board at Lyphe in March last year, steering the company through a turbulent stretch that included withdrawing from the clinic sector and cutting its three-person medical science liaison team.

He has now taken up a position at Cannatrek — a company that has faced its own challenges in recent times — as manager of New South Wales and strategic projects.

In a post on LinkedIn, Nafte said he had spent the past decade "navigating the complexities and opportunities of this fast-growing sector".

"I'm excited to start a new chapter at Cannatrek, an Australian leader in medical cannabis, as we embark on the next phase of growth," he wrote.

"The industry is still in its early days, with many twists and turns ahead, and I'm grateful to be part of a team that's shaping its future."

Lyphe Australia is expected to name a replacement for Nafte within the next few days.
