Medicinal cannabis wholesaler Leafio, a subsidiary of Montu, has launched a third distribution warehouse in Sydney, adding to its existing operations in Brisbane and Melbourne.
Leafio general manager Nicole Le Maistre said the Sydney hub would strengthen the company's national distribution network and increase its daily order capacity.
"Nearly a third of the country's population lives in New South Wales, and we are actively addressing existing gaps in the supply chain, ensuring that pharmacies across the NSW region and beyond can fulfil the evolving needs of their patients in a timely manner," she said.
Leafio, which recorded revenue growth of 700% between FY23 and FY24, currently works with more than 3,000 pharmacies. The new Sydney facility will carry a catalogue of nearly 1,000 products across 100 brands and offer same-day delivery to metro pharmacies.
"We look forward to strengthening and diversifying our range and reach to ensure these medications are more accessible to those who need them most," added Le Maistre.
