Early-bird ticket sales for this year's Australian Medicinal Cannabis Symposium wrap up on Friday (June 30), with members still able to save an additional A$100 on a three-day pass before the deadline.
This year's event will bring Joel and Jesse Stanley — pioneers of the medicinal cannabis industry and co-founders of CBD medicine Charlotte's Web — to Brisbane to speak directly to the Australian sector.
Other program highlights include:
- A program curated by the Lambert Initiative focused on emerging research from Australia and abroad, featuring top international researchers Professor Ryan Vandry and Associate Professor Ziva Cooper (US) and Dr Jan Ramaekers (Netherlands) among the confirmed speakers.
- A one-day nurses conference, sponsored by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation, offering CPD hours.
- An accredited pharmacist education program covering the therapeutic applications of medicinal cannabis, supply management, and regulatory dispensing requirements, developed by Sydney University Pharmacy School in partnership with community and hospital pharmacists.
- RACGP-accredited training for healthcare practitioners delivered by the Society of Cannabis Clinicians Australian Chapter, also offering CPD hours.
The Symposium will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from August 11 to 13, with early-bird pricing available through Friday.
