UIC 2026 Full Program Announced as Discounted Ticket Deadline Gets One-Week Extension

Organisers of next month's United in Compassion conference have extended the discounted ticket deadline by one week, coinciding with the release of the complete program for the three-day event.

Readers now have until Friday February 6 to claim a 15% saving on standard and function-only tickets.

The deadline extension came alongside the full program announcement from UIC organisers, the Australian Medicinal Cannabis Association (AMCA).

The event opens on February 26 at Brisbane's Royal International Convention Centre, with the first day dedicated to speakers presenting the latest research and findings across a range of conditions and patient groups.

Presenters on the opening day include US paediatric specialist Dr Bonnie Goldstein, OnTracka chief executive Chad Walkaden, and addiction specialist Dr Peter Grinspoon.

The second day splits into two streams covering a broad range of industry topics. Alfredo Pascual will outline lessons Australia can draw from the German market, while an international panel will examine Australia's position within the global medicinal cannabis industry.

Day three opens with US-based Dr Jordan Tishler, president of the Association of Cannabinoid Specialists, delivering an independent assessment of the consultation document released by the Therapeutic Goods Administration.

The TGA's Michael Wiseman and Kirsty Tomas will follow with a two-hour session covering the latest developments on the consultation.

A series of industry workshops addressing a range of issues will close out the conference after lunch on the final day.
