Early-bird tickets for United in Compassion's Australian Medicinal Cannabis Symposium 2025 are available until Tuesday, October 15, with discounts of up to 20% before the offer expires.
Held during Medicinal Cannabis Awareness Week at the Royal International Convention Centre in Brisbane from February 21–23, this year's symposium will centre on the theme of 'Optimising Quality and Compliance'.
Jason McHeyzer, head of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency's newly established Rapid Regulatory Response Unit, is among the confirmed attendees, alongside representatives from the Therapeutic Goods Administration and the Office of Drug Control.
Confirmed political attendees include all four of Australia's Legalise Cannabis MPs — David Ettershank and Rachel Payne from Victoria, Dr Brian Walker from WA, and Jeremy Buckingham from NSW — as well as Australian Greens senator Peter Whish-Wilson.
The program has also expanded to include noted cannabinoid researcher Associate Professor Dedi Meiri of Israel's Technion Institute of Technology and medicinal cannabis advocate Amazon John Easterling.
With accredited sessions available for prescribers, nurses and pharmacists, a regulatory compliance training workshop, and a '50 shades of green' themed party scheduled for Saturday evening, organisers said they are expecting a sell-out crowd.
