Wellnex Life has introduced its Wellness Life medicinal cannabis brand in partnership with joint venture partner OneLife Botanicals, and has brought on Dr Mihindu Jayasuriya and Dr Tony Farag as senior medical advisors.
The product range is accessible via prescription through the special access scheme and will be distributed through the Entourage Effect.
Dr Sylvia Victor, previously the chief commercial officer and head of research and development at Releaf Group, will head the medicinal cannabis division at Wellnex.
Dr Jayasuriya, also a former Releaf Group alumnus, and Dr Farag will focus on training and educating selected pharmacies while prescribing Wellness Life products to patients.
