Oklahoma voters reject rec move

Oklahoma voters have rejected a ballot measure to legalise recreational cannabis for adults aged 21-plus. With 90% of the vote counted, 63% had rejected the move in a state where medicinal use has been legal since 2018.

The no vote means recreational use remains legal in 21 US states and Washington D.C. with 37 approving medicinal use.
