Medicinal cannabis distributor Health House Australia (HHA) is preparing to open its own telehealth clinic within the coming months.
Parent company Melodiol Global Health disclosed to the ASX that the subsidiary has completed "significant internal analysis and planning" ahead of the clinic's expected launch in Q2 2024.
Melodiol confirmed that the Health House Wellness Clinic will operate as a telehealth-only service, "at least initially".
Over the first quarter, HHA expanded its supplier network by bringing on several new partners, including Botanitech, Chemovar, Endoca, Quantum, and MedTEC Pharma, according to Melodiol.
CEO and managing director William Lay added: "Since being Australia's first company to import medicinal cannabis in 2017, HHA's unwavering commitment to great service and integrity has led to it becoming one of the trusted names within the distribution of medical cannabis in Australia.
"Additionally, we are very excited about the launch of Health House's medical cannabis clinic in Q2 of 2024, which will serve to further strengthen HHA's value proposition to existing and new suppliers."
Separately, Melodiol announced it has secured firm commitments to raise close to A$800,000 in working capital through the issue of approximately 180 million shares priced at $0.00442 cents per share.
