Melbourne to Host 3rd Global Hemp Summit After Three-Year Hiatus

The 3rd Global Hemp Summit is returning to Australia this month, with Melbourne set to welcome the event after a three-year absence.

The University of Melbourne will host the gathering of prominent hemp industry figures on September 27 and 28, with a focus on innovation and commercialisation.

The Centre for Advanced Manufacturing of Prefabricated Housing and the Australian Hemp Manufacturing Company are behind the two-day event, which features keynote presentations from Australian and international thought leaders.

Attendees can expect coverage of regenerative agronomy, sustainable construction, international research, the carbon economy, and pathways for innovation across the sector.

Dr David Wilson from the University of Melbourne said: "We are privileged to be hosting this important event in Australia. It will appeal to professionals and researchers across the whole industrial hemp supply chain".
