Eric Chan Steps Up to COO at Medicinal Cannabis Wholesaler Kayf Industries

Eric Chan, a former executive at Cannabis Warehouse, has been appointed chief operating officer of medicinal cannabis wholesaler Kayf Industries.

Chan joined the Melbourne-based company last September as head of innovation and growth after leaving Cannabis Warehouse in mid-2025.

He had spent three years at Cannabis Warehouse before resigning in July alongside chief technology officer Kenny Tran, saying it was "time to move on to new opportunities".

Chan announced the promotion to COO via LinkedIn.

During his time at Cannabis Warehouse, Chan played a central role in developing the Compass compassionate access scheme.

According to its website, Kayf was founded in 2022 as part of Saleh Cannabis Industries by Mel Goodman, Ali Saleh, Abbas Saleh and Abdul Goodman.

The company describes itself as Australian-owned and family operated, saying it is “dedicated to delivering high-quality compliant and reliable medicinal cannabis products to the Australian healthcare community”.
