ECS Botanics has signed an agreement with German distribution firm Nimbus Health, paving the way for the company's own-branded medicine to reach German consumers.
Nimbus Health will handle the import and distribution of two budget-tier OzSun products, with initial sales anticipated in April.
In a separate but related move, the Victorian grower also plans to bring its domestically developed Terphogz strains to Germany later in 2026.
ECS noted that the non-exclusive OzSun arrangement with Nimbus follows the company's receipt of EU-GMP accreditation and its fulfilment of German market entry requirements.
Managing director Nan-Maree Schoerie described the contract as a "key step in the expansion of ECS's international footprint".
"We're entering Europe's largest cannabis market with a proven brand, a compliant platform and a respected distribution partner," she said. "Nimbus provides us with immediate access to a broad pharmacy network without the need for significant additional infrastructure."
The Terphogz launch will involve cultivars grown at ECS's facility on the banks of the Murray River, following what the company referred to as a "multi-year pheno-hunting program utilising Terphogz seeds".
ECS said those genetics have been selected with the premium European market segment in mind, and that they will "complement the value positioning of the OzSun line".
The company added that the German rollout is part of a wider strategy to grow its presence across targeted international markets.
