Former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson took to social media this week to announce the launch of ear-shaped cannabis edibles.
The 'Mike Bites' gummies feature a piece cut out in 'tribute' to his notorious 1997 fight with Evander Holyfield, in which Tyson was disqualified after biting a chunk from his opponent's ear.
"Holy ears! They’re finally here! Go get your Mike Bites now," said Tyson's cannabis brand, Tyson 2.0, in a Twitter announcement.
The ex-boxer launched his cannabis venture in November 2021, with products currently available in Nevada, California, Massachusetts and Colorado, and plans to expand into Michigan in the near future.
Details on where Mike Bites will be sold and at what price have not yet been confirmed. Holyfield's reaction has also not been recorded at this stage, though the pair are said to have put their in-ring rivalry behind them.
