Renowned cannabis educator Dr Kylie O'Brien has joined Cannim as chief scientific officer.
O'Brien has been involved in the cannabis industry since 2018, and previously held roles as chief scientific officer and director of research and education at Releaf Group.
She has a background in Chinese and integrative medicine, as an academic and researcher.
She said: “One of my passions is clinical research. Cannim is committed to providing a strong evidence base for its products, in order to be able to best help people manage particular health conditions.
“The company’s commitment to research and a genuine desire to help people are the key reasons I have joined.
“This year will see us launch several different research projects on the international stage, many with a focus on conditions affecting women’s health.”
Cannim is headquartered in Sydney, with a presence in Canada, Jamaica, the US, UK and Germany.
