A court case brought against Vitura subsidiary CDA Clinics QLD and former director Ben Jansen over alleged breaches of advertising regulations has been adjourned, with proceedings now scheduled to resume next month.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) filed the action against the parties in early December, alleging advertising violations going back to 2021.
The claims centre on content that appeared on the website and Facebook page of CDA Express, a now-closed venture established by CDA Clinics in April 2021, a few months before that business merged with Vitura.
Vitura is currently working through the process of deregistering CDA Clinics QLD.
An initial case management hearing had been scheduled for Brisbane Federal Court on Tuesday, but Justice Collier issued orders pushing the first hearing back to May 14.
