Biortica Agrimed will ship 18 new genetics to Australia next week, pushing the total number of new varieties the company has introduced to the country to 49.
CEO Tom Varga said the company's stake in Canadian genetics business Apollo Green was starting to yield results.
"We've always believed that to produce the very best medicinal cannabis you have to grow the very best plants… [and the way to do that] is to first invest in the best genetics."
He added: "Our investment in Apollo Green… is now really beginning to deliver. International enquiries are increasing significantly, however the Australian industry, and Australian patients, will always be a key focus for Biortica."
