Cannasouth CEO Departs Following Company's Entry Into Voluntary Administration

Cannasouth has confirmed that CEO Mark Lucas has resigned, with his departure taking effect from Monday, April 8, 2024.

The company entered voluntary administration last month after a dispute with secured convertible noteholders derailed a critical capital raise.

In a statement to the NZX, Cannasouth said Lucas had "offered the administrators his full support as and when required throughout the course of the administration".

The Administrators thanked him "for his co-operation through this process to date".

The departure of CFO and company secretary Colin Foster had been announced shortly after the business first entered administration.
