Bioxyne Posts Best-Ever Quarterly Revenue as Cannabis and New Products Drive Growth

Brisbane-based manufacturer Bioxyne achieved record quarterly revenue of A$17.2 million in Q2 FY26, reflecting a 21% rise on the prior quarter and a 112% increase compared with the same period last year.

Cash receipts for the quarter reached a record $18.4m, up 149% on Q2 FY25, with net cash from operating activities coming in positive at $2.5m.

Bioxyne attributed the revenue performance to continued growth within its subsidiary Breathe Life Sciences Australia (BLS), citing "increasing demand for its cannabis portfolio" alongside the newly launched Que Medical Inhalation Device, which together "drove the revenue results".

On the international front, German purchase orders generated $2.9m in invoicing across the three months to December, while progress on new supply agreements in Central America left the company well positioned going into upcoming quarters, according to Bioxyne.

The company also completed a dual listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange during the quarter, "enhancing liquidity and access for European investors".

Bioxyne cash receipts in Q2 FY26 saw a significant increase on both the prior corresponding period and the previous quarter.

Chief executive Sam Watson said the results "reflected the continued execution" of its "scalable operating model".

"We remain firmly on track to deliver our FY26 guidance of $65–75 million in revenue and $11.5–13.5 million in underlying EBITDA," he said.

Capital expenditure for the period totalled $700,000, directed primarily toward infrastructure upgrades in Australia and preparatory works for a UK GMP manufacturing facility.

Outside of medicinal cannabis, Bioxyne announced the release of Australian-manufactured GMP-compliant MDMA capsules for use in clinical trials in Victoria and by authorised prescribers in Queensland, covering more than 400 patient doses.

The company was included in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Australia 2025 list, an acknowledgement of 452% revenue growth between FY22 and FY24.

Bioxyne closed the quarter with $7.6m in cash on hand.
