ANTG Parts Ways With Commercial Executive Beatriz Garabelli

Beatriz Garabelli, the commercial lead at Australian Natural Therapeutics Group (ANTG), has left the company after more than four years in the role.

Garabelli announced her exit via LinkedIn, writing: "The time has come to step away." She offered no further explanation for her decision.

She came to ANTG from Tilray in August 2020, initially as business operations manager. The following May she was promoted to general manager of commercial, then moved into an executive commercial position in May 2023.

Prior to ANTG, Garabelli spent nearly three years at Tilray, having previously built a near 14-year career at IBM.

In her LinkedIn post, Garabelli said: "After four incredible years shaping ANTG and its brand, the time has come for me to step away.

"Reflecting on my time here, I am deeply proud of the impact we've made — educating countless doctors and helping them understand the power of this remarkable medicine."

She described herself as "immensely proud" of her team and their "unwavering dedication", praising their "resilience and commitment".

"[They have] not only propelled ANTG forward, but have also played a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of the industry in Australia and New Zealand," Garabelli said. "This chapter has been unforgettable, and while I'm stepping away, I look forward to seeing how we can all continue to grow and evolve the industry together."

Garabelli indicated she plans to stay within the medicinal cannabis sector.

ANTG acknowledged her departure but chose not to comment beyond confirming that the position will not be filled.
